About

Since childhood there was a question which I found partly answered by pictures, partly by poems. As a student I tried to merge poetry with paintings. Later on came photography like a shower cleaning my mind and heart. No more to be or not to be. We are here and today, somewhere in the Universe like stardust in the eternal sunshine, dreaming. This Way needs a strong Believer in Beauty, whatever does it mean…and following the argument wherever it leads you.

I would like to share with You some of my arguments mostly using photographs, seldom some words.

Ansel Adams

“A true photograph need not be explained, nor can it be contained in words.”

“Sometimes I do get to places just when God’s ready to have somebody click the shutter.”

Diane Arbus

“A picture is a secret about a secret, the more it tells you the less you know.”

Henri Cartier-Bresson

“Photography is, for me, a spontaneous impulse coming from an ever attentive eye which captures the moment and its eternity.”

“It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head.”
